Wall Street Turns Bullish As SpaceX Joins The Nasdaq 100

SpaceX is moving from market spectacle to market fixture with unusual speed. After its public debut, the company is being added to the Nasdaq 100, and Wall Street has begun lining up with bullish calls. For a company long treated as the private crown jewel of the space economy, this marks a major shift in how investors can engage with its story.

Reuters reported that major brokerages including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Citigroup and Wells Fargo launched coverage with positive ratings. JPMorgan estimated that inclusion in the index could draw billions of dollars in passive fund inflows. That kind of buying does not necessarily reflect fresh conviction from individual investors. It happens because funds tracking the index need to own the stock.

The excitement comes from more than rockets. SpaceX sits at the crossroads of satellite internet, defense, commercial launches and AI infrastructure. Starlink gives the company a recurring revenue story. Starship gives it a long term ambition story. Government contracts give it strategic importance. Together, these pieces make SpaceX feel less like a single industry company and more like a platform for the next phase of aerospace technology.

Still, the enthusiasm has a shadow. Rapid index inclusion can create pressure as quickly as it creates demand. Investors now expect public company discipline, clearer disclosures and repeatable financial progress. SpaceX built its reputation by moving faster than traditional aerospace firms, but public markets often ask a different question. They want to know not only what is possible, but when it becomes profitable.

For Wall Street, the bet is that SpaceX can become one of the defining companies of the next decade. For skeptics, the risk is that valuation has already priced in years of success. Either way, the company has entered a new arena. It is no longer watched only by space enthusiasts and venture insiders. It now belongs to the daily rhythm of the market.
